Trustee Recruitment

Status: Trustees are appointed for a term of three years with the opportunity for re-election. 

Salary:  Voluntary.  Reasonable expenses will be paid e.g. for travel.

Camphill Wakefield is a specialist college for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.  We are a safe, caring and thriving learning site, with a focus on individual learning and ensuring all our students achieve their aspirations and potential.  Our services include:

  • Post-16 and Post-19 Education including enterprise and career opportunities.
  • Day Services (social care after leaving education).

We are looking for Trustees to join our existing Board with knowledge, experience and interest in the following areas. 

  • Education, ideally with a lived experience of SEND, particularly including being a parent/carer of a young person with SEND.
  • Care
  • Clinical Therapies sector – SALT/OT/SEMH
  • Financial & Risk Management
  • Marketing
  • HR
  • Fundraising
  • Digital Technology
  • Facilities Management/Health and Safety
  • Ecology, biodiversity and sustainability
